Job Description

Operate Equipment: Basic Finning, drill press, sonic welder, sonic inserter, pad printers, silk screen, glue machine, injection molding job, hot stamp, cnc, hand spraying, hot knife, router, sanders; grinders; test computers; labeler; taper machines; press side; other as required by customer.Administrative: See/read/follow work instructions, DVQR’s, Pareto charting; blueprint reading; labels; ISO procedures; labor tickets; time cards; Inventory procedure; BOM; general forms as determined; knowledge of MRP.Quality: Paperwork accuracy; testing; recognize defects and address; perform gauging; use measuring devices; follow work instructions; clear/correctly written paperwork; prevent defects; follow procedures on defects and others as needed; help to identify root cause.

Productivity: Meet established performance standards; perform secondaryoperations within cycle time; participate in problem solving; able to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities.Health/Safety: Follow safety rules, guidelines and training given; cleanliness ofworkstation/housekeeping; maintain good personal hygiene; wear all required and appropriate PPE; recognize hazards and report to designated individual; participate in safety initiatives; report all accidents/injuries/near misses immediately; practice safe work habits.Teamwork/Flexibility: Available for OT; interact with co-workers professionally; contribute to a positive work environment; adapt to job/business demands; learn and apply new skills; support co-workers or company initiatives; rotate between jobs/departments as needed; able to train other employees on knowledge and skills mastered.Set Up: Area/station/workbench – keep effective and efficient; prep- set up for next shift.Other: Participate in decision making; make recommendations for improvement or on resolution of issues; provide new/helpful ideas; adhere to all company policies/procedures; other duties as assigned.
