Responsibilities:
- Test, service, and maintain fire alarm systems and related components in accordance with applicable local / national NFPA and NEC codes with working knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components.
- Understanding of system schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Proper use and operation of tools required to complete the appointment.
- Complete service calls and inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
- Ensure company provided vehicle is clean and well maintained as required by company policies.
- On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service.
- Ensure that all assigned tools are safeguarded and maintained.
- Accurately detail, work completed at the end of the day/appointment via ServiceTrade.
Qualifications:
- Hight School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Local or State certification and/or NICET II required.
- Denver Fire Alarm CSA certification is required within 3 months.
- Minimum 5 years' experience servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems required.
- Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Must have electrical / mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required.
- Show up promptly to scheduled daily appointments ready for work.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Intrusion, CCTV, Card Access Experience a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 8 hour shift- Monday to Friday, typically 8:00am- 4:30pm
