Our technicians maintain and repair fire trucks and ambulances that people depend on every day. We offer a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, stable hours, and optional overtime, all within a large, well-equipped shops built for skilled professionals.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Overtime is available
Paid holidays (no waiting period)
Work Environment:
Amelia, VA
Primary work environment is an indoor service and maintenance shop, with occasional field or outdoor work as needed.
Specialty work on fire trucks and ambulances.
Key Job Duties:
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and air systems
Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on fire trucks and ambulances
Accurately documenting repairs, labor time, and parts usage
Completing safety inspections and ensuring vehicles are ready for service
Maintaining a clean, safe work area and following OSHA and company safety standards
Assisting other technicians as needed and working as part of a team
What we’re looking for:
Diesel mechanic experience, preferably with heavy duty or emergency vehicles
Electrical diagnostic skills a plus
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
