Chimney Cricket & Hometown Hearth is seeking a skilled fireplace installer to join our growing team. If you have experience installing gas or wood fireplace systems, we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in clean, safe, professional installations that wow our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Install gas and wood fireplaces/stoves/inserts according to manufacturer specifications, codes, and standards
- Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation methods
- Ensure all installations are performed safely and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service during installations and consultations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for fireplace installations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in gas and wood fireplace installation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of codes and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- NFI, CSIA, NCSG certifications in gas/wood/pellet preferred but not required
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
