Join our team as an on-call Fitness Floor Attendant and help create an awesome experience for members in a dynamic corporate fitness center! This is a perfect opportunity for college students, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a flexible schedule—no two days are the same!

Shifts occur between 6:00AM - 6:30PM, and hours vary based on what coverage is needed. You will help encourage members to feel confident and motivated in a supportive, upbeat environment!

Responsible for providing exercise floor supervision and interacting with members and program participants within the fitness center.

Key Accountabilities

• Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests while at front desk and input data into membership system.
• Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and always stocked.
• Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or the American Safety & Health Institute will be required within first 30 days of hire.
• Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Computer application knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred.
• Physical demands require having the ability to lift up to 40 lb. weights for restacking.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. Compensation: $17/hr - $18/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. Additional commission opportunities for someone with an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved Personal Trainer certification. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
