About the Job
HOTWORX Alamo Ranch is an infrared fitness sauna studio implementing 3-dimensional training. We combine infrared energy, heat, and isometric postures to help you flush toxins, tone up and torch calories. Our studio offers 24-hour access and unlimited sessions for our members. We have a suite of classes from Hot Yoga to Hot Cycle led by a virtual instructor in a semi-private environment suitable for all fitness levels.
Our ideal Trainer Sales Associates have previous sales experience and an interest in helping others feel and look their very best while benefiting from rewarding performance-based commissions and bonuses here at HOTWORX ALAMO RANCH!
Compensation/Commission:
- HOTWORX provides a competitive compensation package with potential of increases based on personal performance.
- Each sales associate will be eligible for monthly commissions based on personal and company performance that will increase the sales associate’s overall compensation!

Basic Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sell memberships and do the necessary prospecting and outside promotions for new members. Achieve all membership sales goals. Full billing information and signatures are required for completed sales.
- Sell retail and learn everything that needs to be discovered about all products and future products that will be introduced.
- Complete between 15-20 hours per week unless otherwise noted by management. Always use the time clock provided to account for all work hours.
- Consistently maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the HOTWORX® Uniform Policy & Code of Conduct. While on the clock or attending any official studio functions, all staff must wear officially branded tops with official name badges at a minimum. No exceptions are allowed.
- Always strive for only 5-star online ratings for Yelp, Facebook, Google and other listing sites! 5 stars happen when the studio maintains a culture of supreme customer service and hospitality!
- Follow general cleaning and maintenance checklists and guides as assigned by management.
- Complete all daily open/closing procedures and checklists for each shift.
- Make every member feel special and keep them motivated for the workouts.
- Assist members during their visits by providing warm greetings for each visit, answering their questions, providing proper sauna and workout instructions, answer all post-workout questions and provide suggestions on gear, hydration and other retail items.
- Promote participation in the Burn Off Challenge and use of the HOTWORX® App.
- Achieve all retail and membership sales goals.
- Perform the lesser exciting duties with positivity such as cleaning and keeping the equipment in tidy order.
Qualifications:
- High-school Diploma.
- Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends).
- 1 Year of sales experience (preferred).
- Experience/Interest in health/fitness.
- Must be able to obtain CPR certification and other required certifications through the HOTWORX Training program within first week of employment.
- Dynamic, outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must live in San Antonio or willing to relocate at candidate’s own expense.
- Maintain active CPR, AED and First Aid certification at all times.
Job Type: Part-timeHourly base is $11 + personal commission on membership sales, paid in full packages & retail sales. Monthly bonus when studio goals are met. Associates can expect to earn anywhere between $14-$20 hourly (base + commission).Expected hours: 15-20 hours per week
