Fitness Specialist

Fitness Specialist: Full-time

Job Type: Full Time - (Day Shift) No weekends

Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week (M-F)

Setting: Senior Care/Wellness, Rehabilitation Center, Restorative Care

Location: Athens, GA

An ideal candidate would have an exercise science background, personal training background, group fitness instructor experience (especially in aquatics), etc.

As a Wellness Instructor, you will:

• Assist Activities Director- Leads Activities
• Provide support as an active member of our rehabilitation team: physical, occupational & speech therapy and wellness program
• Give input to monthly activities calendar
• Must know how to swim
• Conduct and deliver optimal programming for the residents
• Working along side Therapy Team

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Background in activity delivery with senior populations, preferred.
