Job Description
ROLE
Fixed income execution trader on a discretionary macro portfolio management team focused on mortgage-backed securities, TBAs, and specified pool markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and enhance tools for analysis of MBS/MBS option and spec pool trading.
- Execute trades on behalf of PM portfolio across MBS products and hedges (rates/vol).
- Liaise and build relationships with approved broker dealer counterparts focusing on best execution and liquidity.
- Potential to grow into an associate PM or systematic quant role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong interest in fixed income trading.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Tenacious, detail-orientated, organized, and proactive about potential operational risks.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Exposure to SQL or Python a plus.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
