St. Dominic Village is one of the leading senior care providers in the Greater Houston area. We are a faith-based, non-profit, continuing care retirement community dedicated to Caring for Our Elders with the Compassion of Christ.

As a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, St. Dominic Village provides a seamless continuum of care, comprised of short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing care, assisted living, independent living, the Archbishop Joseph A. Fiorenza Priest Retirement Residence, and respite care services.

Position Overview

At St. Dominic Village Senior Care Community, our mission is to provide compassionate care and foster an environment where our residents can achieve their highest potential. The Floor Tech plays a vital role in supporting this mission by maintaining carpets, hard floors and general up-keep of facility.

Qualifications

18 Years of age or older

Experience in basic floor and the use of industry machinery
Stripping & waxing of hard floors
Experience in working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility

Responsibilities

Primary focus on floor care and disinfection of facility
Maintain cleanliness of machinery and upkeep
Follow specialty task as required
Strip, wax, buff, shampoo flooring
