Join our team as Food & Beverage Supervisor for the Coral Casino Beach & Cabana Club!

The Club, located at Butterfly Beach in Santa Barbara, is one of the most elite social clubs in the world. As part of the Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts portfolio, it’s sister properties include Montecito Club, San Ysidro Ranch, Four Seasons Resort the Biltmore Santa Barbara, Sandpiper Golf Club, Four Seasons New York and Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting all front-of-house food and beverage operations, including the Chef-driven restaurant, bar, cabanas, café, and quick service outlets. Under the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage, this role drives operational excellence, exceptional hospitality standards, team development, and financial success. The Supervisor ensures seamless daily operations, fosters a positive and professional work environment, and builds strong relationships with members and guests to deliver an elevated club experience.

This position is compensated at $26 - $28/hr DOE

Essential Duties

  • Assists the Director of Food & Beverage in maintaining service standards including training programs, station assignments, steps of service, and development of comprehensive training manuals for all FOH roles.
  • Oversees front-of-house service at all food and beverage outlets as assigned.
  • Maintains the highest levels of member and guest service; greets members, builds relationships, and resolves concerns professionally and gracefully.
  • Manages daily operations including weekly scheduling, payroll submission, team meetings, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Ensures service standards are consistently met and exceeded; provides real-time coaching and feedback to associates.
  • Conducts daily pre-shift meetings to review service expectations, reservations, events, and operational priorities.
  • Conducts ongoing training sessions focused on service improvements and areas of opportunity.
  • Performs regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, organization, ambiance, and compliance with health and safety codes.
  • Ensures all outlets are prepared for service daily, including staff grooming standards, table settings, host stand organization, menu readiness, and overall presentation.
  • Collaborates with other managers on duty to ensure seamless service across all operating hours.
  • Participates in weekly F&B management meetings and completes assigned projects.
  • Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members to support both operational excellence and internal growth opportunities.
  • Supports the management of the designated F&B operating budget and assists in achieving financial goals.
  • Maintains full knowledge of and compliance with all state liquor regulations, including laws regarding service to minors and intoxicated persons.
  • Ensures a work environment free of harassment and discrimination, fully compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to move and maneuver in a food & beverage environment
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, up to an entire shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and maintain professionalism
  • Ability to work irregular hours as business demands require
  • Minimum two years of college education required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Restaurant Management preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years hospitality experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
