Job Description
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and banquet services. This position involves overseeing daily food and beverage operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and quality. Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and development to foster a positive team environment.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Coordinate banquet services, including setup, service flow, and breakdown.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Implement training programs for staff on food service management and customer service best practices.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and sales tracking.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of banquet operations and kitchen processes.
- Experience in team management with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Familiarity with quick service fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation and service is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to train staff in various aspects of food service management, including safety standards and operational procedures.
