Position Overview: This position handles food expediting operationsEXPEDITING:

Manage the order flow from the kitchen to ensure dishes are prepared in sequence and sent out to diners in a timely manner.
Deliver food from the kitchen to the table, bar, or take-out area.
Check the presentation and quality of each dish before it is served to guarantee it meets the restaurant’s standards.Act as a communication hub between the kitchen and the dining room staff to relay messages about order status, dietary restrictions, and guest preferences.
Organize and prioritize food tickets to streamline kitchen operations and improve service efficiency.
Resolve any issues related to dish preparation or timing by coordinating with the kitchen and servers.

Qualifications:

Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service or a hospitality role, with a demonstrated ability to engage and satisfy guests.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting warmly and effectively with guests and team members.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the guest experience are managed effectively from cleanliness to personal interactions.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with kitchen staff, serving staff, and customers.
