The Food Expeditor plays a critical role in maintaining seamless communication and workflow between the kitchen and front-of-house team. Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient flow of orders from servers to the kitchen

• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders appropriately

• Assist with the final preparation and plating of dishes

• Inspect completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and proper temperature before service

• Deliver food promptly to maintain smooth and timely service

• Uphold quality control and sanitation standards; assist with cleaning as needed

• Communicate important information between kitchen and wait staff (e.g., special requests, modifications, delays)

• Professionally handle guest concerns to protect and enhance the restaurant’s reputation

• Support additional tasks as directed by management
