Job Summary:Expeditor (Expo)The expeditor is particularly important at busy times and fulfills one of the most important positions in a restaurant. While they don’t take orders, they help keep food flowing from the kitchen to hungry diners! The expeditor – or the expo – is responsible for ensuring that food is prepared and delivered well and efficiently. Not only do they deliver the food, but also ensure it has been properly prepared. Expeditors should work well in a fast-paced environment and be familiar with the menu to ensure dishes are up to standard. Teamwork is a major skill that successful expeditors display.Food RunnerRunners are the unsung heroes of the front of the house. They bring customers their meals and beverages. Runners are responsible for taking food and drinks from the kitchen or bar and bringing them to customers. Food runners should be familiar with the menu in order to be able to correctly identify dishes and serve them to customers.

Examples of skills and qualifications for a successful Bartender candidate include:

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications:

Efficiently operate a Point Of Sale (POS) system, including Kitchen Display System (KDS).
Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to reliably commute to on-site location.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Night and weekend availability are a must.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
