The role focuses on maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical systems and equipment, while supporting the overall maintenance team and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.COMPENSATIONHourly pay is based on experience and skill level: $30 - $40 per hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform electrical maintenance tasks including replacing fuses, wiring, lighting components, and related parts.Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions such as shorts, faulty wiring, and control panel issues using schematics, diagrams, and manuals.Support preventive maintenance activities and assist in completing scheduled electrical inspections and service tasks.Conduct regular visual inspections of electrical systems and components to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns.Ensure all work complies with company safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant food safety or regulatory requirements.Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in all assigned areas.QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician preferred.Strong understanding of electrical theory, troubleshooting, and repair methods.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of safety practices and electrical codes applicable to industrial environments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSManufacturing or industrial facility with moderate to high noise levels.Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.May require occasional work in elevated or confined spaces.Interested in hearing more?
