Job Description

Moliar Hospitality Group is a locally owned and operated food and beverage organization that focuses on enriching the lives of our guests, our employees, and owners. We believe that our employees are our most important resource, and our success depends upon creating and retaining a staff capable of delivering an exceptional dining experience to every customer, every time.We currently own and operate 4 successful establishments: Calypso Bar and Grill, Repeal Bourbon and Burgers, 3 Hair of the Dog Eatery’s (Downtown Granby, and Loehmann’s Plaza in Virginia Beach)

Our company is seeking a restaurant expo to maintain a clean and pleasant dining experience. A successful expo provides support to their team members by managing restaurant supplies, ensuring all tables, kitchen supplies, and restaurant areas are kept sanitized and clean free of debris. As a expo, they will also assist with serving food, completed meals, and follow all restaurant standard procedures and policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Able to lift, bend, and carry up to 25 pounds
Flexible schedule for weekends, holidays, and long hours

Job Duties

Ensuring all areas are cleared, cleaned, and sanitized
Assisting with preparation of food items
Delivering food in a timely manner
Positive and welcoming attitude to patrons and team members
Managing inventory of napkins, silverware, and other table supplies
Performing opening and closing side work duties
Maintain restaurant safety and sanitation
Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times
Assist with other restaurant duties as needed

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
