Manny's Parkside is looking for a dedicated team member to join our team in the position of Food Runner/Busser. This position is part-time with various shift availabilities ranging from day, evening, and weekend. This position will be responsible for the transportation of food and dishes too and from guests tables. Position Summary:The Food Runner/Busser position is an integral part of a restaurant kitchen team, especially in busy restaurants. This position plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless dining experience for guests.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery to guests.
Transport food from the kitchen to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
Verify food orders before delivering them to guests, addressing any discrepancies or special requests.
Collaborate with kitchen team to prioritize orders and manage multiple food deliveries efficiently.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working as part of a team to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests.
Follow food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of food items
Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining experience for guests.
Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables, and transport them to kitchen for cleaning.
Polish cups and silverware when they come from dish.
Roll silverware as it is polished during down times.
Replenish supplies such as napkins, condiments and beverages as needed.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces.
Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
Provide support to the front of house team as needed.
