Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Food Scientist for our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our company, contributing to our mission to deliver high-quality food products to our customers. Responsibilities:As a Food Scientist, you will play a critical role in the development and production of our food products. Your key responsibilities will include:1. Developing and improving food product formulations to meet customer needs and company objectives.2. Conducting research on ingredients, food processing techniques, and packaging materials to optimize product quality and safety.3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute product testing, including shelf-life studies, sensory evaluations, and consumer testing.4. Assisting in the scale-up of new or improved formulations from bench-top to production, ensuring consistency and quality control.5. Troubleshooting production issues related to food quality and safety, and developing solutions to minimize their occurrence.6. Providing technical expertise and support to our sales and marketing teams, helping to communicate the benefits of our products to customers.Qualifications:To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have:1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is highly desirable.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in food science, with a focus on food product development and formulation.3. Strong knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, sensory science, and food processing techniques.4. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting scientific experiments.5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex product development and production issues.6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to non-scientific audiences.8.
