Job Description
- Develop and maintain skill curriculum that meets the needs of employer partners.
- Provide adequate, consistent, and regularly scheduled instruction to trainees in a variety of settings including facilitated lectures, workshops, small group instruction, and individualized tutoring.
- Provide coaching to trainees surrounding their progress and employment readiness.
- Work alongside the Success Coach to ensure trainees presenting with barriers (behavioral or resource-related) are reality counseled, with clear choices, resources, and support in setting goals.
- Complete required documentation tracking goals, progress, and outcomes for trainees.
- Maintain a broad scope of relationships with industry employers, community partners, and Brighton Center staff.
- Food service and/or catering experience is a must.
- The ideal candidate will possess the ability to connect and engage with individuals of diverse backgrounds, passionately believe that each person has inherent worth & dignity and the ability to become self-sufficient, and be a strategic thinker with demonstrated skills in growing referral bases, relationship management, and marketing.
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate database applications.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while demonstrating attention-to-detail in reporting, documentation, etc.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to adapt and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced and changing environment.
