Job Description

Food Service Worker | Day ShiftPenmac Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers for a part-time opportunity. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing quality food service, and maintaining a clean and organized workplace.Requirements for the Food Service Worker

High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
Dependable, honest, and professional
Adequate verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Must be willing to submit to required background checks

Food Service Worker ResponsibilitiesAs a Food Service Worker, you will assist with daily food preparation, serving, and sanitation duties while supporting a safe and efficient operation.

Assist with food preparation and food service activities
Set up and maintain service areas
Clean and sanitize work areas, dishes, utensils, and equipment
Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food and supplies
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient operations
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Work Environment

Indoor food service environment
Exposure to heat, noise, and commercial food service equipment
Frequent standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
Repetitive tasks such as lifting trays, pushing carts, and cleaning surfaces

Schedule and Pay

Monday through Friday
Typical hours: 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Schedule may vary based on business needs
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
