Position Overview:
As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will directly interact with our valued customers, ensuring their experience is positive and memorable. This role is essential in food service environments, where your responsibilities will include processing transactions, providing information, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Answer questions and provide information about menu items and services.
- Assist customers in selecting items and placing orders.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and care.
Transaction Processing:
- Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to efficiently process sales, returns, or exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately.
- Provide correct change and receipts while ensuring transaction accuracy.
Maintaining the Work Area:
- Keep the counter area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Restock shelves and food/beverage stations as needed to ensure availability.
- Maintain a sanitary and safe environment, adhering to food safety standards.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with event preparation, setup, and cleanup as required.
