Job Description
Food Service Director Pay range: $48,000-53,000 DOE We're seeking a hands-on Food Service Director for one of our clients. If you're a strong leader who enjoys developing teams, managing operations, and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily food service operations and meal service*
- Train, coach, and develop a high-performing team*
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, USDA, OSHA)*
- Manage inventory, purchasing, labor, and food costs*
- Build positive relationships with school staff and administration*
- Drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- High school diploma or GED required*
- 3+ years of food service supervisory experience*
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills*
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices*
- ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)*
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and reporting
- MondayFriday daytime schedule
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
