Vitality Bowls Team Member

Job Description:

Memorize the training material and be able to explain the health benefits of the ingredients and the food to customers in an upbeat and informative manner
Have excellent customer service, including being positive, extremely polite and informative to customers, as well as giving accurate wait times
Assist and ring up customers, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone
Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
Put away deliveries and keep the store organized
Communicate well with other employees
Perform additional tasks requested by your manager
Prepare and serve food to customers with a sense of urgency while following all sanitation guidelines and policies
Adhere to safety procedures
Practice cost-cutting measures
Works effectively in a team environment
Prepares food in a way that follows all of Vitality Bowls presentation standards

Requirements:

Is or is willing to become Food Safety Certified
Must be able to efficiently use POS system; light computer usage
Must be able to handle cash and credit cards properly
Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, occasionally lift boxes up to 50lbs.
Move quickly and have a sense of urgency
Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance
Come to work with a positive attitude, and are willing to work well with others

Compensation: $10.50-$15

Vitality Bowls specializes in making delicious açaí bowls, a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients. Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, juices, salads and more. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item.
