The AVI Foodsystems operation within the Cleveland Area Schools is now hiring friendly, service-oriented people to join our team. If you have a passion for food and are looking for an opportunity that also provides a great work/life balance, we want to talk with you! This position is on-call as needed filling a Food Service Worker role that will work when staff is needed. A great way to earn extra money! This position will work as needed on-call.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties
Perform any other duties as specified by management
Willing to drive to different locations within a 60 minute radius
No reimbursement for gas, mileage or drive time

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License (a CDL is NOT required) and a clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently
Ability to be analytical and organized
