Food Service Workers Needed ASAP For SUNY Delhi.Premier staffing agency, SGA Lists, is looking for skilled food service workers to join our team and support many of our clients in the Oneonta Delhi Areas. What You’ll Do: As a Food Service Worker and be a real team player in ensuring smooth operations for our clients. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of vibrant menus and ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.
Responsibilities include:
- May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served. Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.
- Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
- Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

- Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
- No previous work experience required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is required; training is not provided.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of trays, dishes, and supplies.
- Walking, bending, and reaching to serve customers and maintain the service area.
