Job Description
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Part-time Food Service Worker/Delivery Driver at Marietta City Schools in Marietta, OH. Primarily will work day-shift, Monday - Friday and follow the school schedule with Holidays off.
The Delivery/Van Driver is responsible for safely delivering food, supplies, and other products to three elementary schools each day. This position is also responsible for receiving deliveries from vendors, checking in products, and properly putting stock away in designated storage areas along with Food Service Worker job duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
- Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
- Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
- Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
- Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate a company van and follow all traffic laws
- Ability to lift, carry, and move food and supplies, including items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to receive, check, organize, and stock deliveries
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow food safety and company procedures
Requirements:
- Previous food service experience preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect
- Maintain a professional relationship with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives
- Valid drivers license
- Good driving record
