Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Food Distribution and Packing Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for packing food items, distributing them to designated locations, and assisting with the loading of food onto delivery vehicles. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring food safety and timely distribution.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing Food: Efficiently pack food items into bags or containers for distribution. Ensure all items are securely packed, labeled, and organized for easy access during delivery.
• Loading Food: Assist with loading packed food bags into delivery vehicles, ensuring that the food is safely and efficiently arranged for transportation. Ensuring that food is delivered on time and according to the planned schedule.
• Food Distribution: Accurately distribute food to the appropriate locations.
• Inventory Management: Help maintain an accurate inventory of packed food items and report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all food items meet quality standards and are packed in a sanitary, safe, and organized manner.
• Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies, to ensure the proper handling, storage, and transportation of food.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow in the packing and distribution process.
• Maintenance: Assist in keeping the packing area clean, organized, and well-maintained to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in food handling, packing, or distribution (preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy bags or containers (up to 50 lbs).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

This position may require working in a warehouse or food storage environment, with exposure to varying temperatures.

The role may involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time.

Flexible working hours may be required, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on food distribution schedules.
