Job Description

Job Summary:

Ford's on the Road is seeking a skilled driver and line cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality seafood dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, a passion for food, and a strong commitment to quality. Clean driving record is a requirement.

Responsibilities:

Drive food truck to varies locations
Ensure food truck safety and cleanliness standards are upheld

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast paced environmentEnsure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner

Ensure all dishes are prepared according to our recipes and standards of qualityKeep the kitchen area clean and organized at all times

Monitor food inventory and order supplies as neededCommunicate with cashiers to ensure a positive customer experience

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience working in a professional kitchen

Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniquesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededStrong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

Experience working in an upscale casual restaurant environmentKnowledge of seafood sustainability practices
