Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Ford Automotive Technician for a B Level opportunity in Mitchell, SD.This shop specializes in rebuilding totaled Ford trucks, primarily 2017 and newer, including gas, diesel, and medium-duty models.This is not a general maintenance position. Technicians diagnose and repair damaged trucks, identify the parts needed to complete each rebuild, and help prepare the vehicles to be sold.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Ford trucks being rebuilt after total-loss damage

• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics

• Diagnose gas and diesel engine concerns

• Troubleshoot drivability and performance issues

• Repair medium-duty Ford trucks as needed

• Complete mechanical repairs required during the rebuild process

• Identify required parts and create accurate parts lists

• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional automotive or truck repair experience

• A- or B-Level automotive technician experience

• Strong Ford knowledge preferred

• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with gas and diesel engine repair

• Experience working on newer trucks

• Medium-duty truck experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• $35-$45/hour

• Hourly pay

• $100 bonus for every completed truck, paid quarterly
