Forklift / Assembler / Kitting Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift / Assembler / Kitting Associate to support warehouse and production operations at a fast-growing packaging and manufacturing facility in Reno. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in their day, and the opportunity to grow into a long-term position based on performance and business needs.
Associates may start part-time and move into full-time hours as workload increases. This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift & Material Handling
Safely operate forklift equipment to move, stage, load, and unload materials and finished products
Transport corrugated materials, packaging products, and supplies throughout the facility
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area
Assembly & Kitting
Assemble packaging components and materials according to job specifications
Perform kitting of parts and packaging items for production and customer orders
Verify accuracy and completeness of assembled kits
Warehouse & Production Support
Assist with order preparation, labeling, sorting, and staging for shipment
Support production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus but not required)
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or fulfillment experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities as workload changes
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse and production setting
Hands-on role requiring standing, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
