Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties

• * Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on forklifts
• * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and brake systems
• * Interpret technical manuals to complete repairs accurately
• * Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and safety concerns
• * Repair and maintain mast systems and attachments
• * Perform tire changes and brake repairs
• * Work on LP gas and electric-powered forklifts
• * Conduct battery maintenance, washing, and testing
• * Replace defective parts and order replacements when needed
• * Reassemble equipment and ensure safe, efficient operation
• * Perform safety inspections prior to returning equipment to service
• * Maintain clean, organized work areas
• * Complete service logs and maintenance documentation
• * Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• * Stay up to date on new technologies and maintenance techniques

Qualifications (Needed)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of forklift maintenance or related experience
• Experience in manufacturing and/or food processing environments preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial electricity (up to 480V preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to pass forklift written and driving exams
• Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment safely
