As a Forklift Operator and Shop Helper, you'll play a crucial role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations in a busy manufacturing environment. Youll work closely with the warehouse and production teams to support shipping, receiving, staging, and storage activitieshelping ensure materials and finished goods move safely and efficiently.What You'll Do As a Forklift Operator and Shop Helper, you will be responsible for: Operating mechanized equipment safely, efficiently, and within specifications Loading and unloading materials and finished goods using powered industrial vehicles Preparing shipping documentation and keeping accurate records Generating inbound and outbound shipping labels Verifying accuracy of shipping and receiving orders and records Staging and transferring products between storage and production/work areas Entering and maintaining accurate data in inventory/shipping systems Assisting in tracking missing or delayed shipments Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesWhat You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: 1-2 years of relevant experience forklift operating (larger sized forklift, not a hyster 50) Forklift experience is a MUST Familiarity with inventory/warehouse systems or lead/mentor-style warehouse experience is a plusWhy Join This Company?
