The Forward Warehouse Clerk position resides within our Order Processing department at our Administrative Office. The Order Processing department is responsible for managing customer orders from the moment they are received until the product is shipped to the customer. This includes verifying order details, checking inventory availability, and coordinating with our warehouse serving as the liaison between sales and order fulfillment.
This position will be primarily responsible to:
- Receive Bill of Ladings from all forward warehouses and confirming the inventory in our control system is accurate and available, with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
- Manage open orders and appointments at our forward warehouses.
- Track and reconciling inventory.
- Resolve order discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written communications, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgement decisions relative to inventory processes.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and prioritize work.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Complex problem solving skills.
- Typing speed/accuracy certificate for at least 50 wpm.
- Two years of work experience in an office environment.
- One year of experience working in supply chain specifically with inventory related matters.
Physical Requirements:
Rare lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; rare stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 25% or less, as 75% or more of the time the employee will be in their assigned workspace area. The job is performed under moderate temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs. is required.
