Founding Account Executive

The role, in one line

Payhawk has passed $100M ARR and is opening a new office in Stockholm. As our first Mid-Market Account Executive in Sweden, you will build the region from scratch: you will write the sales playbook, build relationships with Sweden's fastest-growing companies and lay the foundation for the team that joins after you.

What you will own

• Find and prospect new business in companies with 300+ employees, across a range of industries.
• Multithread your deals using cold calling, targeted email campaigns, social selling and networking.
• Run high-quality discovery calls that uncover the root cause of a prospect's process challenges and put a number on their impact.
• Qualify leads and research each prospect's business needs, challenges and pain points.
• Present to senior executives and run product demos that show the value of Payhawk.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, influencers and other stakeholders in your target accounts.
• Manage the full sales process, from first contact to closed deal, and hand customers over smoothly to the account management team.
• Consistently exceed your individual sales targets and performance metrics.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activity, customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.

What you will need

• 3+ years in a net-new business sales role at a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience selling to businesses with more than 300 FTEs.
• A track record of generating cold outbound pipeline that supports consistent forecasting and sales volume.
• A track record of closing multiple six-figure ARR SaaS deals.
• A proven record as a top performer in a sales environment.
• Experience expanding and upselling a defined portfolio of accounts, which will be about 20% of your time.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• The ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions to them.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A highly organised approach to your work.
• Excitement about working in an AI-first environment, where you use AI tools every day to move faster, cut repetitive work and have more impact.
• Stockholm native, with fluent English.
