Job Position: Foundry Grinder

Location: Tulsa, OK 74131

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift: 3: 00 AM 1: 30 PM, Monday through Thursday

Description: Join our team!Foundry Grinding Technician OvernightShift: 3: 00 AM 1: 30 PM, Monday through ThursdayOvertime: Expected overtime on Fridays (8 hours)Pay Range: $16.93 $21.68/hour

Position SummaryThe Foundry Grinding Technician is responsible for grinding, cleaning, and finishing cast metal products to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role also supports production operations across the foundry as needed.

Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate tools and equipment such as:GrindersChippersSawsBlasting equipmentGrind, smooth, and finish castings to required specificationsInspect castings for defects and report issuesPerform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipmentMove materials using forklifts, cranes, hoists, or similar equipmentSupport additional foundry functions, including:Core making (internal casting structures)Mold making and closingMelting (preparing molten metal)Pouring (filling molds)Shakeout (removing sand and cores)Maintain a clean and safe work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience with grinding, cutting, or metalworking equipment preferredExperience operating:

ForkliftOverhead craneSimilar material handling equipment (preferred)

Job RequirementsAbility to pass drug screen and background checkCorrected vision to 20/20

Ability to work in:Extreme temperaturesNoisy environmentsDust, fumes, and moving equipmentStrong problem-solving skills in structured environmentsAbility to: Work independently and in a teamMultitask in a fast-paced environmentFollow all safety procedures
