Foundry TechnicianPay:$16.93 $21.68 per hour (DOE)Location:Tulsa, OK 74131Shift:Monday Thursday | 3: 00 AM 1: 30 PMOvertime:Expected Fridays (8-hour shift)Job Type:Temp-to-HireJob Order #:125264Position OverviewWe are seeking motivated and dependable Foundry Technicians to join a growing metal casting operation in Tulsa, OK. This position plays a critical role in the production of high-quality cast metal components through a variety of foundry operations including mold making, core making, melting, pouring, shakeout, and finishing.The ideal Foundry Technician is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment while maintaining quality and production standards.Required Experience & Skills High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience in two or more foundry-related processes preferred Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred Front-end loader experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills in a structured manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED Willingness to cross-train in multiple foundry departmentsEssential Duties & Responsibilities Perform core making operations to create internal casting surfaces Perform mold making and mold closing operations for casting production Assist with melting and preparation of molten metal for production requirements Perform pouring operations safely and accurately Complete shakeout processes and support sand reclamation activities Clean and finish castings by removing gates, risers, fins, and other imperfections Perform abrasive blasting and casting repair as required Inspect castings to ensure quality standards are met Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment safely Support multiple foundry departments as production needs require Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsPreferred Qualifications Experience in pattern storage or pattern shop operations Induction melting experience Pouring and shakeout experience Casting inspection and repair experience Grinding and abrasive blasting experience Prior foundry or metal casting experience in a production environmentPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods Corrected vision to 20/20 required Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and moving machineryWork Environment Industrial foundry and metal casting facility Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, and moving equipment Fast-paced production environment requiring strong safety awareness Required PPE includes hard hat, gloves, face mask, and steel-toe boots Ability to work in physically demanding conditions while maintaining quality standardsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience and skill level Consistent four-day workweek with overtime opportunities on Fridays Opportunity to learn multiple foundry disciplines and advance your skills Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity with career growth potential Work with a team dedicated to quality, safety, and craftsmanshipReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text us at 918-582-0522 for more information.You can also walk in and apply at:1531 E. 2nd St.Tulsa, OK 74120Monday Friday | 8 AM 4 PMStand-By Personnel
