A 4th-grade teacher in a Tennessee public school is responsible for instructing students in core academic subjects-such as English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies-while fostering their social and emotional development. This role requires aligning all instruction with the Tennessee Academic Standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Instructional Planning: Develop and deliver engaging, meaningful lesson plans with clear, measurable outcomes that follow state and local curricula guidelines.
- Differentiation: Adapt teaching strategies, materials, and remedial programs to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with varying abilities and interests.

Essential Qualifications

- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.

Working Conditions
