Fpga Design Engineer

Location: Westminster, CO (Hybrid) Schedule: 9/80 Work Schedule Duration: Through July 30, 2027 is seeking two experienced Senior FPGA Design Engineers to support a long-term program focused on advanced FPGA development for space-based applications. This is a hands-on technical contributor role for seasoned FPGA engineers and is not a lead or management position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex FPGA solutions for advanced aerospace and defense applications.
• Develop distributed FPGA architectures requiring multiple FPGAs to operate together as an integrated system.
• Implement and optimize complex digital signal processing and algorithm-based designs.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to develop and integrate hardware/software solutions.
• Support System-on-Chip (SoC) development and FPGA-based embedded systems.
• Contribute to FPGA designs intended for space environments, considering reliability and mission requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, verification, debugging, and system integration activities.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level professional experience in FPGA design and development.
• Strong experience with AMD (Xilinx) Zynq and Versal FPGA devices.
• Experience designing distributed FPGA architectures involving multiple interconnected FPGAs.
• Demonstrated experience implementing complex algorithms within FPGA designs.
• Experience interfacing FPGA hardware with software applications.
• Strong understanding of System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures.
• Experience or familiarity with FPGA design considerations for space applications.

Clearance

• No security clearance is required.

Work Location & Schedule

This position follows a hybrid work schedule based in Westminster, Colorado. Current onsite expectations are:

• Monday Remote
• Tuesday On Site
• Wednesday On Site
• Thursday On Site
• Friday Remote

Please note that onsite requirements are subject to change based on evolving program needs.

This position follows a 9/80 work schedule, providing employees with every other Friday off.
