Fqpp Quality Intern

We are seeking a Quality Intern for our First Quality Print & Packaging facility located in Anderson, SC.

Purpose and role of job:

Responsible for QC laboratory area to ensure safety, Quality, customer service, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. Responsible to ensure conformance to quality systems for product testing and disposition

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

• Will complete trial testing.
• RD testing for Lamination and Extrusion.
• ColorCert Management
• Experience Process Auditor.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule. This means working 12-hour shifts on both days and nights for Vacation cover or other.
• Maintain through understanding of QC test methods and quality systems related to product testing and associated quality systems.
• Ensure calibration schedules are maintained on lab equipment as prescribed in calibration procedures
• Ensure test equipment remains in good working order, providing accurate results.
• Assist in the establishment of standards for QC procedures and test equipment.
• Maintain quality database in support of Operation's needs and quality System.
• Audit and review the completion of product test results and records for accuracy and conformance to quality systems.
• Review daily production records and confirm conformance to requirements.
• Recommend quality improvements to the Quality system.
• Maintain QC records.
• Prepare CoA as required by customers. Ensure product meets specification.

Manufacturing and Laboratory setting.

Physical Requirements:

Walk/stand 100% of time during shift.

Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling and squatting throughout shift.

Occasional reaching overhead during shift.

Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift,

Frequent lifting or carrying of boxes weighing up to 50lbs.

Constant use of hands throughout shift.

Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift.

Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area.

Full color vision is an essential job requirement
