Position Overview
Manages load assignments, shipment tracking, and dispatch workflow through Oregon-based systems. Anchorage candidates prioritized for hybrid workflow; remote candidates fully integrated nationwide. Entry-level candidates receive structured training; experienced professionals manage operational responsibilities independently and assist with workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Assign freight loads and monitor shipment progress
Track shipments and maintain operational documentation
Communicate updates, exceptions, or delays to drivers and internal teams
Ensure workflow accuracy and compliance with operational procedures
Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose improvements
Collaborate with Oregon-based management to maintain alignment
Escalate scheduling conflicts or operational issues as needed
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer proficiency including dispatch/tracking systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
Ability to follow structured workflows and procedures
Time management and multitasking skills
Experience optional; full training provided
Work Environment
Hybrid and remote Oregon-based dispatch operations. Anchorage candidates may attend hybrid workflow sessions; remote candidates fully supported.
