Job Description
Job Title: Freight LoaderLocation: Kearney, NEPay: $25.86 per hourShift: 2nd ShiftAssociated Staffing is the exclusive hiring partner for this position.Job OverviewAssociated Staffing is seeking a Freight Loader for a premier employer in Kearney. This is a high-impact warehouse role responsible for building pallets, preparing orders for shipment, and ensuring shipping accuracy using scanning equipment and documentation.Class A CDL is required.Pay increases every 3 months (up to 12 months) after being hired on permanently by Parker.Key Responsibilities
- Build and palletize customer orders according to department and customer standards.
- Coordinate pallet building activities with zone pickers for safe and efficient order completion.
- Utilize RF scanning equipment to ensure shipping accuracy.
- Prepare and complete shipping paperwork including packing lists, ship-to labels, manifests, and special labeling.
- Load and unload export containers manually or using material handling equipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks, lift trucks, stretch wrap machines, and other powered equipment.
- Load finished pallets into trailers for shipment.
- Complete manual shipping manifests and forward documentation for final billing.
- Inspect product cases to prevent damaged or defective items from shipping.
- Assist with inventory counts, auditing orders, warehouse cleaning, and minor packaging repairs as needed.
- Meet established production standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ability to lift and transport materials up to 50 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment.
- May require climbing ladders.
- Frequent movement, lifting, and carrying of products.
- Class A CDL required
- Previous warehouse or freight loading experience preferred
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
