Job Description
The Front Desk Team Member is essential to providing an awesome customer experience and drives our mission to create exceptional climbing, yoga, and fitness experiences that encourage growth and invite connection. Ensuring the gym provides a space for our community where everyone feels welcome. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESâ¯
Delivers outstanding customer experience that helps inspire others to live intentionally and strive for personal bests
Shows respect for others and makes progress towards the mutual sharing of feedback and concerns
Ensures customer service delivered aligns with our culture, mission, and core values
Demonstrates a growth mindset through a willingness to learn and a sense of curiosity for various other tasks
Greets and checks-in members and guests to create an inclusive space that fosters a sense of belonging.
Pro-actively educates customers on gym amenities, member benefits and promotions and guides customers to best-fit membership, program, or pass options. Takes ownership of role in helping gym meet targets.
Performs facility upkeep, cleaning, administrative/membership, and project tasks as assigned and/or based on task list for desk team members
Clearly communicates basic knowledge of our retail products and gear, membership and pass options, and programming offerings for climbing, yoga, and fitness
Delivers belay checks, conducts community and facility checks, and instructs Introduction to Rope Climbing and Bouldering classes
Manages common customer service concerns and scenarios effectively, with professionalism

Comfortable adapting to web-based programs and registers.
Ability to instruct introductory-level rope climbing courses.
Regular morning or evening, plus weekend availability is required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONâ¯
- This opening is specific to the Movement Design District location.
- This is a part-time position. Averaging roughly two (2) shifts a week.
- Scheduled shift times may vary from week to week or month to month.â¯
- Starting pay at $13.50/hour, flexibility available based on experience.â¯

- New hires will complete a screening process.â¯
- Rock Climbing and Top Rope Belaying experience is strongly encouraged.â¯
