About the Role: We are seeking a talented Front-End UI (React) Engineer to join our team, focusing on delivering high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in modern front-end technologies, with exposure to American Express (Amex) OneData/OneApp components highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain front-end components using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain responsive and high-performing UI across devices and browsers.
- Implement and optimize front-end frameworks and libraries such as Redux, Material-UI, or similar.
- Collaborate with backend teams to design, troubleshoot, and integrate APIs effectively.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Utilize DevOps practices and version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage development and deployment processes.
- Contribute to performance tuning, UI optimization, and improving user experience across applications.
- Leverage prior Amex experience to support development and integration with OneData/OneApp components.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development.
- Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js.
- Experience with front-end state management and UI libraries such as Redux, Material-UI, or equivalents.
- Proven experience with API design, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- At least 1 year of Amex experience with OneData/OneApp components is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Exposure to testing frameworks for front-end applications (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
