Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for Fixed Income trading applications.
- Build Python-based automation for front-office sales and trading workflows.
- Perform API, UI, functional, regression, component, and integration testing.
- Validate trading workflows across complex Fixed Income and derivative products.
- Partner with developers, QA engineers, and front-office stakeholders to establish testing priorities.
- Analyze test failures, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams on resolution.
- Build test coverage around trade lifecycle events, financial calculations, and business requirements.
- Maintain clear test plans, test data, execution results, and defect documentation.
- Strong hands-on Python programming experience.
- Professional QA or test automation engineering experience.
- Direct experience within Fixed Income Capital Markets.
- Strong understanding of interest rate swaps and associated trading workflows.
- Experience building API automation.
- Experience building UI automation.
- Experience testing trading platforms or sales and trading applications.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and component testing.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with OIS swaps, inflation swaps, swaptions, CDS, repos, futures, options, or total return swaps.
- Selenium, TestNG, or comparable automation framework experience.
- Market data testing experience.
- Regulatory or trade lifecycle testing experience.
- Experience supporting trading-platform modernization initiatives.
