- Greet patients professionally and create a welcoming front office experience
- Upload and verify demographic information
- Manage new patient intake forms and questionnaires
- Ensure required documentation is completed prior to visits
- Collect copays and cash payments at time of service
- Review balances and provide receipts as needed
- Schedule follow-up appointments at check-out
- Confirm upcoming appointments via outbound calls or messaging
- Contact patients on waitlists to fill open provider slots
- Answer incoming calls and respond to voicemails in a timely manner
- Route patient questions or messages appropriately
- Verify patient insurance benefits prior to visits
- Identify eligibility issues and escalate as needed
- Manage unreviewed documents within eCW
- Handle fax intake, routing, and documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Maintain front desk organization and workflow efficiency
- Support clinic operations during high-volume periods
- Float to other clinic locations when coverage is required
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff as needed
- Prior experience in a medical or behavioral health office
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Comfort handling high call volume and patient traffic
- Ability to multitask without sacrificing accuracy
- Proficient with computers and EHR systems
- Professional demeanor with patients, providers, and leadership
- High School Diploma required. College or college-equivalent education is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a medical, behavioral health, or outpatient clinic front office setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with patient check-in and check-out, copay or cash collection, and appointment scheduling
- Experience verifying insurance benefits and handling intake documentation preferred
- Prior use of an electronic health record system required; eCW experience strongly preferred
- BLS/CPR Certification (Preferred but not required).
- PNS offers a competitive compensation package including; Medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.
- Hourly Rate - $23.50

Our psychiatry team provides psychiatric treatments for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, from multiple offices located throughout Orange County, we do accept patients from the entire United States as well. Our psychiatrists treat a number of mental health disorders, including anxiety, stress, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, dementia, depression, ADD ADHD, alcohol and chemical dependency, and more. Our Psychiatry practice was founded on the principles of treating patients with care, compassion, and understanding.
