Front Office Representative – Medical Practice
Our client is seeking a full-time Front Office Representative to join our Seminole location. This position plays an important role in creating exceptional patient experience by assisting with check-in, check-out, scheduling, phone communication, and overall front office operations.
The Position
The Front Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and helps ensure a smooth and positive healthcare experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining excellent customer service and patient confidentiality.
Location: LakelandSchedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PMStarting Pay: $17.00 to $19 per hour (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Perform patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions.
- Collect co-payments and update patient information.
- Assist patients with forms and required documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Utilize computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Provide exceptional customer service while supporting daily office operations.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Experience with computer systems including Word, Outlook, and healthcare software.
- EMR/EHR experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
- Previous healthcare front office or customer service experience preferred.
