Position Overview
The Front / Back Office Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while keeping clinic operations running smoothly. You'll manage front office responsibilities and receive comprehensive training to assist with basic back-office clinical tasks.
Front Office Responsibilities
Welcome patients and manage check-in and check-out
Verify insurance, demographics, and collect co-pays
Schedule appointments and procedures using NextGen
Answer and route phone calls professionally
Prepare daily deposits and end-of-day reports
Confirm upcoming appointments
Back Office Support - We Train You!
Room patients and take vital signs
Assist providers and clinical staff as needed
Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized
Qualifications
Preferred (but not required):
Prior healthcare or medical office experience
EMR experience (Athena preferred)
Basic medical terminology
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication and computer skills
Ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment
No clinical experience? No problem - we provide full training!
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time, Monday-Friday
Shifts: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
