Job Description
Night Shift
Job Summary
- Ensures packing fruit (citrus) to production standards (quality, quantity)
- Verifies packers/graders take proper breaks and meal periods at the correct time
- Verify inventories and supplies are readily available and stored properly
- Verify the packing equipment is maintained and cleaned prior to starting the shift
- Verify the packers/graders are meeting food safety standards
- Verify packers/graders are following industrial safety rules
- Verify the fruit is properly labeled (stickers) and box codes
- Verify compliance to attendance, dress codes and other company policies
- Complete reports for the production manager on daily packing, etc.
- On occasion, contact employees to come to work earlier or later
- Reports hazards and accidents to your supervisor immediately
- Report any employee issues to HR
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a lead of packers/graders in a fruit packing facility
- Ability to understand English/Spanish
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment

- Verificar que la fruta esté correctamente etiquetada (pegatinas) y códigos de caja
- Verificar el cumplimiento de la asistencia, el código de vestimenta y otras políticas de la empresa
- Hacer informes completos para el jefe de producción sobre embalaje diario, etc.
- Comunicarse con los empleados en caso de cambios de horaria de última hora
- Reportar peligros y accidentes a su supervisor inmediatamente
- Informar cualquier problema de los empleados a Recursos Humanos
Calificaciones
- Experiencia previa trabajando como líder de empacadores/clasificadores en una planta empacadora de fruta
- Habilidad para entender, hablar, leer y escribir inglés y español (básico)
- Capacidad para trabajar bien con otros a un ritmo y entorno acelerado
Pay Range ($17.50 min - $18.00 max)/hour
