Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer Port Angeles, Washington Day Shift (4x10s) | Up to $144,000/Year Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Port Angeles, WA, to hire an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time, permanent opportunity. This Day Shift position offers a desirable 4x10s schedule and competitive pay of up to $144,000 annually, based on experience.Position Overview The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a hospital-based cardiology team.Key Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and related cardiac ultrasound studies*
- Conduct Doppler studies and assist with stress echocardiograms as needed*
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging for accurate physician interpretation*
- Accurately document patient information and exam findings in EMR systems*
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams*
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functionality*
- Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards*
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and departmental policies
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS or*
- RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI*
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)*
- Washington State license if applicable (based on modality requirements)
- Minimum 12 years of cardiac sonography experience preferred*
- Proven ability to perform transthoracic echocardiograms independently*
- Experience with stress echoes and Doppler imaging preferred*
- Familiarity with hospital EMR and PACS systems
