Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Acute Care team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident in clinical decision-making, excels in patient-centered care, and is comfortable working overnight shifts in a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting*
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition*
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders*
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes*
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation*
- Respond effectively to emergency situations*
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma (or compact license)*
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required*
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required*
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Ideal Candidate Background
- Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred*
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills*
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team*
- Comfortable working night shifts and rotating weekends*
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
